Treasure Island Trading Co Ltd is a family owned bespoke Wholesaler. That means it strives to cut every possible unnecessary cost and wasteful expense in the distribution supply chain to pass those savings to the brand owner as well as the vendor.
While other large Distributors compete with each other and focus on trying to achieve economies of scale by growing their company fleet in size and volume they'll try to carry every product that can still fit in their trucks.
By the cubic foot when high margin liquor is delivered in a truck carrying low margin product it is the liquor margin that will suffer by carrying the majority of costs to run that truck up and down the road. That cost will be passed to the vendor by higher prices resulting in lower margins for the liquor store vendor (usually 30-40%).
Our business model is to focus on already popular Call and Top Shelf Premium brands to realize margins of 50-60% for the APS and Pool Buyer vendors and 80-89% for 4COP/11C vendors.
It also tries to deliver product as fast as possible and/or practical which can range from an hour to three days, weekends and holidays included! This can benefit a liquor store or restaurant vendor with limited storage or an event host needing an emergency delivery who is running out of product.
There are significant discounts for volume orders. There is also an additional $2 per bottle discount if paid C.O.D. with a company check upon delivery rather than waiting 10 days to reconcile the account.
